Side Effects of Nilevar
Nilevar is one of the oldest anabolic steroids on earth, and for all intense purposes was Searle’s answers to Ciba’s introduction to Dianabol. While the answer to the wildly popular Dianabol, the steroid would not act like it at all, and this can easily be seen when it comes to the side effects of Nilevar. The side effects of Nilevar will actually be quite similar to Nandrolone compounds such as Deca Durabolin. This shouldn’t be all that surprising, while an oral steroid, Nilevar like Nandrolone is a 19-nortestosterone (19-nor) steroid.
A once extremely popular anabolic steroid, it would largely be the side effects of Nilevar that would see its popularity wane. This is not a very common steroid at all; in fact, most of you will never find it. There are some suppliers who still carry it due to a slight demand in some performance circles, but you need to understand the side effects of Nilevar if you’re going to be safe.
Primary Side Effects of Nilevar:
The primary side effects of Nilevar surround this steroids strong progestin and slight aromatizing nature. Like Nandrolone, a far more popular 19-nor steroid, Nilevar aromatizes at about 20% the rate of testosterone. This can lead to estrogenic related side effects; however, they can be greatly amplified despite slight aromatization due to the strong progesterone activity. By this nature, the side effects of Nilevar will include gynecomastia (male breast enlargement) and excess water retention with water retention being the most common of all.
In order to combat against the primary side effects of Nilevar, you’re going to need some type of anti-progesterone protection, and SERM’s that are often used to protect against Gynecomastia won’t do a thing. Hepatotoxic Side Effects of Nilevar:
Nilevar is a C17-alpha alkylated (C17-aa) anabolic steroid, and this means it is toxic to the liver. All C17-aa steroids carry a level of toxicity, and while Nilevar is not as particular pronounced like some it’s still high enough to warrant caution. If this steroid is abused, the side effects of Nilevar can most certainly include liver damage. For this reason, you will not be able to use the compound as long as you would other 19-nor steroids like Nandrolone.
If the hepatotoxic side effects of Nilevar are to be avoided, there are a few important things to keep in mind. First and foremost, liver enzyme values will increase with use; however, increased values do not automatically mean damage. Increased values are an indicator, and if they remain elevated for long periods of time damage will begin to occur. While following the 8 week max rule, during the use of this steroid it’s a good idea to avoid excess alcohol consumption. Alcohol can be very harsh on the liver, and with the use of a C17-aa medication it will be exasperated. Testosterone Side Effects of Nilevar:
As a 19-nor anabolic steroid, Nilevar is extremely suppressive to natural testosterone production. As the side effects of Nilevar include testosterone suppression, this means they will also include testicular atrophy. For this reason, it is imperative you supplement with some type of exogenous testosterone any time you use this steroid. Failure to provide your body with the testosterone it needs will lead to a low-level condition, and such a condition can not only be problematic but tremendously damaging to your overall quality of life. If you supplement with exogenous testosterone, you will not have a concern. As a bonus, once all anabolic steroid use has ended, assuming responsible practices were followed, your natural testosterone production will begin again. As natural testosterone production begins, your testicles will return to their normal size.
